Roll cage kits for your 73-87(91) Full size Chevy pickups, blazers and suburbans. This is a basic 4 point cage. This should be considered a starting point for you cage. We'll be adding more options as we design them to complete your safety cage.
Our cage kits are constructed with 1.75" x .120wl. DOM tubing. All tubes are notched for you. The A pillar tubes are left a touch long on the bottom end for any last adjustments in fitment.
All mounting points are 1/4" thick steel. At the A pillar we are using our staked cage plate design and the the B pillar we are including some backing plates. We have included an additional mounting point which utilizes the factory shoulder belt mounting point. This is a great point to help spread the loads of the cage and is super handy when you're doing the install.
Another highlight of our cage kits is the "sectioned" design. The larger tubes are made in 3 pieces. This makes the entire kit fit into a relatively small box for a big savings on shipping. At the seam we have a 6" piece of 1.5" x .120wl. DOM tubing making the splice. We've already welded the splice into the bent section of tubing using 3 randomly placed rosette welds. This leaves you a simple snug slip together fit for the center piece. 3 holes are ready for you to make your rosette welds and then you can burn the seam together.
