DIY 4x :: Tubes & Bumpers :: A-Bomb bumper center

The A-bomb bumper center is a winch mounting platform, suspension component and center portion of a bumper all wrapped up in one. It comes standard with satin black powder coat.

Available for the 1973-1987(91) full size Chevy pickup, Blazers and Suburbans.

These are constructed entirely from 1/4" thick steel. Designed to preserve approach angle as much as possible. TRIMMING on the front valance and grill is REQUIRED!! These are intended for offroading where a good approach angle is more important than a little "optional" sheet metal.

The suspenion component of this product is modeled after our B52 kit. Lots of adjustability in spring placement for moving the front axle to help with approach angle and fire wall clearance for large tires.

Two different designs intended for the Warn 8274 and the Warn M12000. Of course others that share those same basic designs will fit. Most importantly a winch that has a solenoid box that can be remote mounted and a clockable clutch handle.

!!! We've added a new design specifically for the Warn 10,000 lbs. power plant. If you're looking to mount that winch, give us a call and we'll set it up for you.

ONCE AGAIN, TRIMMING IS REQUIRED!!!!! Check out the additional images. The Suburban pictured there has a 2" body lift and no height adjustment has been made to the A-bomb bumper center. The winch just clears. In most cases 2" of sheetmetal would need to be trimmed. In the case of the Warn 8274 winch, much, much more trimming is required.
